If you are enrolled in Text-To-Confirm and your monthly insurance premium changes, you will need to replace your existing Text-To-Confirm premium.
Do not resubmit the full premium for a month you have already confirmed through Text-To-Confirm.
Enter your new premium expense
- Add a new receipt and enter the expense information for your new premium.
- Set the month to the first month for which you did not respond to a Text-To-Confirm message.
- Enroll in Text-To-Confirm for the new premium.
- Submit the expense.
The platform will guide you through deleting your old Text-To-Confirm premium and starting over.
What if you already responded to Text-To-Confirm for the old amount?
If your premium increased and you already responded to a Text-To-Confirm message using the old amount, submit a separate Expense (not a Premium) for the difference only for each affected month.
Set the date of service to the first day of the applicable premium month. Include your updated receipt and add a note explaining that the expense is for the difference caused by the premium increase.
Example
Your premium was $750 and increased to $850 beginning in August. You already responded to your August Text-To-Confirm message for $750.
To make the adjustment:
- Enter a new $850 premium expense for September and enroll that premium in Text-To-Confirm.
- Submit a separate $100 Expense (not a Premium) for August, with the updated receipt and a date of service of August 1.
- In the notes for the $100 expense, explain that it is the difference between your old premium and your new premium.
If you responded to Text-To-Confirm at the old amount for more than one month, submit the applicable difference for each affected month.
What if your premium decreased?
Make sure you submit the correct premium amount going forward.
If you already responded to a Text-To-Confirm message using the higher premium amount, contact Salusion Support for options on addressing the over-reimbursement from your Text-To-Confirm response.
